What Does The Cadillac P1575 Code Mean?

DTC P0703, P1574 and P1604 not set, engine started, Traction Control and ABS inactive, vehicle driven with the non-drive wheel speed over 20 mph, and then to below 4 mph, and the PCM detected at least a 6 mph decrease in the non-drive wheel speed in 400 m.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1575 Code?

Below are some potential causes of this DTC:

  • Brake switch circuit is open, shorted to ground or shorted to B+
  • Brake switch power circuit is open (test the IGN1 fuse)
  • Brake switch is out-of-adjustment, damaged or has failed
  • EBTCM has failed
