What Does The Cadillac P1571 Code Mean?

DTC P1602 not set, engine started, engine speed over 500 rpm for 20 seconds, Traction Control active (not failed), and the PCM did not detect a PWM signal on the Desired torque circuit for 3 seconds.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1571 Code?

Below are some potential causes of this DTC:

  • TCS desired torque circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • TCS desired torque circuit is shorted to system power (B+)
  • EBCM has failed
  • PCM has failed
