What Does The Cadillac P1532 Code Mean?

Engine started; A/C switch and A/C Clutch “on”, and the PCM detected the A/C Evaporator Temperature sensor indicated less than 2ºF for 5 seconds during the test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1532 Code?

  • A/C pressure switch circuit is shorted to ground
  • A/C pressure switch VREF circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • A/C pressure switch is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
