DTC P0601, P0602, P0606, P1517 and P1518 not set, key in crank or run position, system voltage over 5.23v, and the PCM detected the TP2 signal was less than 0.83v, or it was more than 4.81v for 1 second during the test.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1280 Code?
Below are some potential causes of this DTC:
- APP2 sensor connector is contaminated, oily or contains water
- APP2 sensor signal, ground or VREF circuit high resistance
- APP2 sensor VREF circuit is open, shorted to ground or to B+
- APP2 sensor signal or ground circuit has high resistance
