What Does The Cadillac P1113 Code Mean?

Condition for setting the DTC:

Engine started; system voltage over 10.0v and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the Intake Resonance Switchover Valve control circuit during the CCM test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Cadillac P1113 Code?

Below are some potential causes of this DTC:

  • Intake resonance switchover solenoid control circuit is open, shorted to ground or to B+
  • Intake resonance switchover solenoid power circuit is open (check for power circuit from the power relay on Circuit 128)
  • Intake resonance switchover solenoid is damaged
