What Does The BMW P1664 Code Mean?

Key on the DME detected an electrical malfunction regarding the EWS. Check the EWS fuse, the ECU or CAN for fault, turn the ignition off and then on to repeat start calibration.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The BMW P1664 Code?

  • Circuit from the MIL to the DME
  • ECU Failure, BUS system failure
  • Circuit from the EPC to the DME
