What Does The BMW P1520 Code Mean?

After 60 seconds with the ignition on, a miscommunication between the oil sensor and the DME was detected.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The BMW P1520 Code?

  • Replace the oil temperature sensor
  • Check BSD wire, voltage supply and oil level sensor ground for an open circuit. If okay, replace the oil level sensor.
