What Does The Audi P1547 Code Mean?

Engine started, battery voltage at least 11.5v, all electrical components off, ground connections between engine and chassis well connected, coolant temperature at least 80-degrees Celicius. The ECM detected an short in the boost pressure control valve.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Audi P1547 Code?

  • Charge air pressure sensor is faulty
  • Voltage supply to the charge air pressure sensor is open or shorted
  • Check the charge air system for leaks
  • Recirculating valve for turbocharger is faulty
  • Turbocharging system is damaged or not functioning properly
  • Turbocharger recirculating valve is faulty
  • Vacuum diagramfor turbocharger is out of adjustment
  • Wastegate bypass regulator valve is faulty
  • Boost sensor has failed
  • ECM has failed
