What Does The Audi P1500 Code Mean?

This code indicates the condition that the engine is running and the ECM detected that the fuel pump relay signal was intermittent.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Audi P1500 Code?

Below are some potential causes of this DTC:

  • Fuel delivery unit connector is loose or not attached
  • Fuse 18 cause a short to the transfer fuel pump or the O2S
  • Fuel pump has failed
  • Fuel pump relay circuit is shorted to ground, B+ or is open
  • Fuel pump (FP) Relay not activated
  • ECM has failed
