What Does The Audi P1434 Code Mean?

The output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) can be activated only with the ignition switched on and the engine not running. The output DTM is interrupted if the engine is started, or if a rotary pulse from the ignition system is recognized.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Audi P1434 Code?

  • Fuel pump relays have failed
  • Fuel injector has failed
  • Hoses on the EVAP canister may be clogged
  • EVAP canister purge regulator valve may be faulty
  • ECM may have failed
  • Manifold Tuning Valve (IMT) may have failed
