What Does The Audi P1410 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the ECM detected a too high or too low voltage level in the tank ventilation valve circuit.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Audi P1410 Code?

  • EVAP canister purge regulator valve has failed
  • Activation wire is shorting to positive
  • EVAP canister system has an improper or broken seal
  • Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve 1 is faulty
  • Leak Detection Pump (LDP) is faulty
  • Fuel filler cap is not properly closed
  • Lock ring on fuel pump not tightened
  • Hoses between EVAP canister and purge regulator valve have failed
  • ECM has failed
