This code is set in this condition:
Key on or engine running, fuses in the instrument panel and the E-box in the engine compartment must be functioning, and the ground connections between the engine ad the chassis must be well connected; and the ECM detected an unexpected voltage condition.
What Are The Potential Causes Of The Audi P1217 Code?
Below are some potential causes of this DTC:
- Injector control circuit is open
- Injector power circuit (B+) is open
- Injector control circuit is shorted to chassis ground
- Injector is damaged or has failed
- ECM is not connected or has failed
- Fuel pump relay has failed
- Engine speed sensor
