What Does The Acura P1850 Code Mean?

Engine started, then with A/T Brake Band Apply solenoid commanded “on”, and PCM detected the solenoid control signal was 12v, or with A/T Brake Band Apply solenoid commanded “off”, the solenoid control signal was 1.34 to 1.56 seconds.

  • A/T Brake band solenoid circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • A/T Brake band solenoid High circuit open or shorted to ground
  • A/T brake band apply solenoid is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
