What Does The Acura P1794 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the BARO sensor signal circuit to the TCM. The BARO sensor is built into the PCM on this vehicle application.

Note: The D4 lamp on the dash will flash 13 times if this code

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1794 Code?

  • BARO signal circuit to the TCM is open or shorted to ground
  • BARO signal circuit to the TCM is shorted to VREF
  • BARO sensor connector is disconnected or damaged
  • TCM or PCM has failed
