What Does The Acura P1710 Code Mean?

Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the First Hold switch circuit during the test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1710 Code?

  • First hold witch signal circuit is open
  • First hold switch is shorted to ground
  • First hold switch ground circuit is open
  • First hold switch is shorted to VREF or system power
  • First hold switch is damaged or has failed
  • TCM or PCM has failed
