What Does The Acura P1362 Code Mean?

Engine cranking or running; and the PCM did not receive any signals from the Top Dead Center 1 (TDC1) sensor during the CCM test.

Note: The engine will start and run without the TDC sensor 1 signal.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1362 Code?

  • TDC1 signal circuit is open or shorted to ground
  • TDC1 pickup assembly or its pulse rotor is damaged
  • TDC1 is damaged or has failed
  • PCM has failed
