What Does The Acura P1102 Code Mean?

Condition for setting the DTC: Engine started, vehicle driven at cruise speed and then back to idle speed, and the PCM detected the MAF sensor signal indicated less than 11.5 g/sec at some point during the CCM Rationality test.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura P1102 Code?

Below are some potential causes of this DTC:

  • MAF sensor signal circuit is open (intermittent fault)
  • MAF sensor signal circuit shorted to ground (intermittent fault)
  • MAF sensor is damaged or dirty (it may be shorted internally)
  • BARO sensor signal circuit to the TCM is open or grounded
