What Does The Acura B2968 Code Mean?

This code indicates a short in the Humidity Sensor circuit.

Note: Do the self-diagnostic function with the HDS or climate control unit.

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B2968 Code?

Below are some potential causes of this DTC:

  • Loose wire or poor connection at Climate Control Unit
  • “Short” to body ground
  • “Short” to power in the wire. This short may have also damaged the climate control unit. Repair the short to power before replacing the climate control unit
  • Faulty Climate Control Unit
  • Faulty Driver’s Air Mix Control Motor
  • Faulty Passenger’s Air Mix Control Motor
  • Faulty Rear Air Mix Control Motor
  • Faulty Humidity/In-car Temperature Sensor
