What Does The Acura B2968 Code Mean?

This code indicates a short in the Humidity Sensor circuit.

Note: Do the self-diagnostic function with the HDS or climate control unit.

Below are some potential causes of this DTC:

Loose wire or poor connection at Climate Control Unit
“Short” to body ground
“Short” to power in the wire. This short may have also damaged the climate control unit. Repair the short to power before replacing the climate control unit
Faulty Climate Control Unit
Faulty Driver’s Air Mix Control Motor
Faulty Passenger’s Air Mix Control Motor
Faulty Rear Air Mix Control Motor
Faulty Humidity/In-car Temperature Sensor
