This code indicates poor communication between the Recirculation Control Motor and the Climate Control Unit (“Open” or “Short”).

What Are The Potential Causes Of The Acura B1215 Code?

Below are some possible causes of this DTC:

  • Loose wires or poor connections on the recirculation control motor circuit
  • Perform the HVAC self-diagnostic function with the HDS
  • “Open or “Short” in the wire(s) between the Climate Control Unit and the Recirculation Control Motor
  • Faulty Recirculation Control Motor
  • Faulty Climate Control Unit
